Software
Syngene software is based on the philosophy of simplicity, automation and versatility. Using 'One Button' and 'Single Window' display technology ensures the software runs from a simple and intuitive interface. Functions are icon driven, with no layers of drop down menus or multiple windows to work through. With all software settings fully configurable for multiple users, you can be assured of rapid results every time.
Syngene develops and writes all its own software. All software provides fast, sensitive and reliable results, with full Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliance. In fact, Syngene products are the only systems to offer full GLP compliance for both image capture and analysis.
Syngene offers a free lifetime update policy. Every piece of software is supported and maintained with the latest features for the life of the product.
- GeneSnap. Automatic image capture software is used on all Syngene systems.
- GeneTools. Automatic image analysis software is supplied with all Syngene systems. GeneTools also includes advanced band matching facilities, matching matrix, matching coefficients, matching tables and dendrogram generation.
- GeneDirectory. Data storage and extended band matching software provides powerful databasing capabilities for large-scale genomic fingerprinting studies, genotyping, cluster analysis etc. Designed for applications such as crop improvement, RFLP and AFLP studies, forensic work or gene mapping, the package works in conjunction with GeneTools, saving you hours of repetitive work by automatically comparing thousands of bands on different gels.
